How Are You Holding Up
Hello Friends & Neighbors,
I'm just checking in to see how you are doing before we head into the weekend. This pandemic is a difficult time of uncertainty, and sometimes being stuck at home can make us feel even more isolated and helpless.
And with Passover starting this week and Easter Sunday this weekend, many people who observe these holidays are struggling with missing out on traditions like religious gatherings, family get-togethers, and large feasts. But we must remember to practice social distancing and do what is best for our families and our communities.
Below are some useful resources if you are in need of additional assistance during this time. Food Resources:
Meals on Wheels Apply for SNAP Benefits Feeding America -- Food Banks Serving SC South Carolina Free Student Meal Locations Financial Resources: IRS Tax Relief Unemployment Benefits Apply for TANF Benefits Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Domestic Violence Resources: National Domestic Violence Hotline National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Take care of yourselves and each other. And remember that we are all in this together.
And for those of you observing these holidays, please enjoy a safe and healthy time.
